Public Art

Bee Cave Arts Foundation was founded with the mission of enriching the community of Bee Cave. A vital aspect of that mission is supporting public art. Not only does public art bring beauty to our community but directly promotes community building by creating a cultural identity and encouraging public discourse. Most importantly public art is freely accessible to all members of our community.
Bee Cave Arts Foundation has supported public art through several initiatives. The first is Bee Cave Sculpture Park, which contains over 30 works by local artists and educational materials for children. Additionally, Bee Cave Arts Foundation has sponsored artist benches and murals throughout Bee Cave. The Foundation’s most recent display of public art was the “Bees of Bee Cave” featuring 10 bee sculptures painted by local artists and placed around Hill Country Galleria.
