From October 2–5, 2025,  the Texas Youth Music Contest: Battle of the Bands — and we want your middle and high school musicians front and center!

Presented by the Bee Cave Arts Foundation and The Austin School for the Performing and Visual Arts, this high-energy event invites student garage bands from across the Lone Star State to showcase their sound, connect with other young artists, and take their music to the next level.

🎶 Here’s what’s in store:

– Meet-the-Judges sessions with pro musicians & music industry insiders
– Improv music activities to spark creativity
– Music clinics and jam sessions to build skills and confidence
– Saturday night showdown in a fully immersive indoor venue with stage, lighting, lasers & video projections
– Sunday master class to polish techniques and forge musical friendships
🏆 Grand Prize: A professional recording session at Orb Recording Studio
✨ Plus: Awards, spotlight performances, and real-deal industry connections
